Rumba involves dancing to beat frequencies of popular rhythms in the Latin word rumbe. The phrase “Dance Rumba” comes from the traditional rumba music.

Dancing, or dancing to beat of your favorite song or rhythm, in the traditional rumba style.
What Is the best way to improve your Rumba skills?
Practise the rhythm you are practicing. If you are dancing it should be smooth and you should be able to produce it for a reasonable time.
If you want to improve your basic skill, it is better to do drills of the same style, because when you start to learn on your own it is much easier to change the way of dancing.
It is very important to practice regularly and to practice the correct motions. If you can’t dance quickly, it is important that you move in a predictable sequence.
Good Rumba Practice
So what can the most difficult and basic skills be? The answer is simple:
Tilt the Head
One of the very most basic Rumba skills is to change the rhythm of your head. There are different techniques for this and many of them are taught throughout the world. You could be taught how to do it from start to finish at any level. And by the way, the technique is always more useful for a dancer who is going for a faster reaction.
And there is also the option of performing it with your hands – there is the Rumba Dance of arms
The basic Rumba movement is the following:
Turn 90° 180°
Dribbler (movements: left, right, up & down, front & back, front & back, to the rear)
Bounce and roll your feet
Rotate your feet a bit from the front and back (if you have good balance: left hip, right hip, to the rear!)
Rotate your torso a bit from the right and left. There are other variations of this but we will cover only this one, because the rotation technique is the easiest and most important to master.
