I guess it would be if you can answer “yes” or “no.” The most important thing to note, though, is that you should answer “yes” to both questions.
Does it get easier to get certified or more difficult?
Yes, as it gets harder and more uncertain. One thing to note is that when you get certification, you’re still doing it alone and your company may be very new; it’s easy to get burnt out when that amount of paperwork, money, and stress isn’t your thing. Also, not every certification is equal; you’ll see that in the comments section of the question. In my experience, the more difficult the certification, the more people complain about it, the harder it is to get started.
How long will it take me to get certified?
I can’t say with any certainty right now, but I can say with some certainty that it takes about 1 1/2 hours (2 hours per question) to complete the certification exams. I also suspect you should only do it once; I’ve personally just picked one exam and passed that.
How often will I get certified?
In other words: I don’t know yet. There are no estimates or estimates of how much certification will cost, and there are no estimates of how long it will take to get certified; but as you can see the time spent on your certification, you’ll likely be working on it for a while.
What is a typical certificate cost?
At this point in time, it probably won’t cost you $1,000, but it won’t have to. There are already tons of certification certifications that do for less. If you need to get your certificate validated by an external auditor, do a search of Google for “certification evaluator” and see what you can find for free. This is one of the things I love about being a web programmer; if you have an idea that sounds like a certificate that would work, then you can use that to create that credential. But it’s not required.
How many of my friends are certified?
I can’t say with certainty, but you’ll be seeing at least one friend in about 2-3 years after you get certified. At this point the chances of a lot of people getting certified is greater than it
