A man from the northern Swedish city of Gothenburg was recently arrested over a racist remark he had allegedly made at a gay pride parade, the Aftonbladet newspaper reported.

The 34-year-old man from Gothenburg, reportedly referred to a gay couple, a man and woman, as ‘sitting ducks’ following the gay pride parade, which took place in his town on Sunday, the report states.

According to the man, he was “saddened” by the remarks, and stated that his racist remarks had been removed from Facebook, which only “expressed regrets.”

“Of course I don’t regret anything I said, but in those days there were still some people who had not learned. At the time I had not heard of this,” the man told news agency Aftonbladet.

Despite the removal of the racist remarks, the man still maintains that he is homophobic, according to the paper. His lawyer has suggested that the man would still like to take legal action over the matter if it were to reoccur in the future.

“Maybe I shall file the discrimination case again in a month or so,” he said.

It’s been quite a fall for Google Fiber as it struggles with a series of delays and lawsuits.

The tech giant confirmed Thursday that it’s dropping a big, ambitious deal to put fiber-optic cable under the streets of Kansas City, Kan., after a yearlong study that didn’t go as planned.

According to the Verge, the Google Fiber project had been going fine for the majority of 2016 until Google Fiber CEO Peter Rive was laid off last July and the company announced it was canceling the deal last month.

“We’re going to pull the plug on Google Fiber and take care of everything that goes into making those changes,” Google Fiber CEO Craig Barratt told an investor conference in February. “We want to take care of the customers who have to figure out how to deal with it, we want to take care of the local cities.”
