Can I re-certify, and when?

Yes, you can re-certify online as many times as you like, for any purpose. However, be aware that some certifications, such as EASA, the British National Certification Scheme (BNCS) and the British Standard Testing Agency (BSTA) require re-certification at a later date.

What is the difference between a Certificates of Training (Cert T-1, Cert T-2, Cert T-3, Cert T-4, Cert T-5, etc…) and an Online Certificate of Training?

Certs of Training (Cert T-1 and Cert T-2) are intended to be used as a gateway for certification courses, i.e. a way for learners to pass their training. An online certificate, on the other hand, allows learners not to need to be registered at an intermediate level or beyond in any course before they get their certification. What is equivalent in scope between Cert of Training and an Online Certificate of Training?

Both Cert T-1 and Cert T-2 are equivalent in scope. However, Cert T-3 and Cert T-4 are recognised as equivalent in scope.

However, Cert T-5 does not count towards the qualifications requirements (see question 3.3) and there are differences in the level and content of training that must be held at each level before certifying.

Cert T-3 courses will not qualify you to become a professional engineer. There are differences between the level and content of this level of training and the
