The History of the Game We are always on the lookout for new pieces to share and learn from, so it came as great news to our colleagues over at the Wizards of the Coast website to read in the past that they are going to be taking a new look at the set in a few weeks. This news comes as no surprise with the release of the new Dragon’s Maze block being slated to arrive over the next six months, the same time that Magic sets usually debut.

The history is interesting but the information about the upcoming sets is not; however, the information may be worth a look because of this:

We can see that this update should make things a bit easier. I had the foresight to get some information I’ve been wanting to share with you in advance for a while, which is quite an accomplishment for myself.

Magic 2012 (2012 Edition)

The History of the Game, the Set, and the Tournament Organizer An update on the 2013 set that was announced by Wizards of the Coast, which was set during the 2010/11 block. A history of the tournament organizer, the product as a whole, and the way that tournaments work and are presented in the game. The history is interesting but the information about upcoming sets and upcoming additions is not. Some of the pieces are quite old and well-worn, but a few important bits have seen updates.
