What is the best photo editing app?

I will use two words: color tonal editing and high quality stitching. Here are two of the tools of my trade, which I will use in a few different situations to help you do amazing things.

In this post you will learn the color tonal editing and stitching tools and how you can integrate them into your workflow.

You might be asking yourself, what is color tonal editing and stitching exactly? It is a type of blending of colors, that is, different wavelengths of the same color, which can occur when a bright-colored object, like a photo, absorbs a darker-colored object, like air, and changes it to a shade of that darker color.

The same concept applies for stitching. Here’s how you might imagine doing this in Photoshop. Photoshop would let you choose the colors you can absorb and subtract the colors you can absorb and subtract the colors you can absorb and subtract the colors you can absorb:

In other words, when you combine the two colors, you get a different tone of that darker object’s color. So, suppose you would like to create a black-and-white photograph:

There is two possibilities there: either darken and darken/darken/darken the whole background or add a subtle highlight:

In a different situation, another option might be for you to remove a certain area of the black background in order to create a brighter-colored area of a background. As you do that, you will make use of two other tools, which are not very well known but are very useful: color gradients and a blending mode. Both of these are described further down.

Here are my favorite color tonal editing and stitching tools
